Yesterday I heard about a program that claimed to be able to produce web 2.0 quality E-covers with just a few clicks. So being the curious type I bought a copy to see what all the fuss was about. Below there is a short video showing you how easy this is and the end result of the work that I did in that Video.

Almost every website sales page has a graphic or two. Most of those graphics are designs that are a representation of a product either in the form of a Book, magazine or a DVD cover. This is not a mistake or a gimmick, These are essential elements that help your potential purchaser to visualize the object of their desire in some physical form. This is a basic form of human psychology that helps your potential customer reach that all important decision to buy your widget, gadget or whatever it is your trying to sell.

Take a look along any high street or shopping mall and retailers everywhere use cleaver visual tricks to attract our attention, or at least get us to take a closer look. Unfortunately the internet cannot make use of other tricks like enticing smells so our only tools are visual and Audible. So in order to make ourselves heard above the din from our competition, video and graphics are our only tools.

The problem here is both of these can be expensive to produce.

Camtasia Studio is not cheap at $300 for windows, the mac is a lot less at $99 but still its an expense most new marketers cannot afford. To have a 10 minute video done that is even remotely professional in quality and sound can cost $150-300 each and that’s relatively cheap. Imagine the cost of a whole video series.

Graphics
There are a lot of great graphics programs around that can be relatively cheap which makes this a more affordable prospect for a fledgling online business. However for that really professional look you still need exorbitantly expensive software like adobe Photoshop. or you need to pay a graphic designer to do it for you again at a significant cost, well at least that was the case until this ecover software was launched.
