It’s relatively easy to make some money blogging if you know how AND its done in the right way. It doesn’t matter what your profession is or your social standing, providing you have access to a computer and the internet and you have a modicum of writing skills you can put up a blog and profit from it over time.

The search engines are getting better at spotting websites that have no real purpose and these are quickly removed from the indexed and are impossible to find. So just make sure that your blog has regular updated content that arrives in an apparently random fashion. Suspicious behaviour such as bulk posting or duplicate content will kill your site.

Plus people who are looking for information HATE arriving at a site where they have to trawl through a pile of adverts for god knows what to get to the information. So subtle is the key.

Once you have created you blog in your chosen niche, you’ll need to build up a knowledge base of information on the niche subject. Quality brings quantity and quality will draw followers like a beacon in the dark. Visitors mean an opportunity to profit. This is NOT an overnight thing and anyone who tells you different is not being honest with you.

So to make money you need to sign up to suitable affiliate programs in your niche. There are a huge variety of programs, some individual products others are websites solely dedicated to promoting products within their affiliate program. Clickbank, and Paydotcom are typical examples of these type of sites. These programs provide widgets or banners that you can place in strategic positions in your blog sidebar, header or footer as appropriate. Over time visitors who you attract in the niche will click on these banners and possibly buy via your link, Making you money. So pick the affiliate programs with care and stick to the niche. Don’t advertise a guitar product on a blog about Animals for example. Relevancy to your target audiance is critical.

A great way to earn cash through blogging is by posting about products in your market. This is a really good way to earn a lot of money in a really short time. I tend to stick to products that I personally use in my business. I turn the post into a product review and highlight potential programs that mirror the capability of the main product. However I am an affiliate of each product in the post. That way I could potentially make money if the visitor buys ANY of the products under the review. When doing reviews be honest. This goes to the heart of building a successful business and is about trust. If you write that a product does X or Y and it does not, you have lost not only a sale because the buyer will demand a refund, but you have also damaged you credibility with the buyer AND the affilaite program. This is not ethical and it is not smart.

There’s no reason why you can’t pull an eBay and put up an online store. WordPress is a very versatile platform that is more than capable of supporting this type of complex website. There are programs out there such as the software gold club that offer the capability of selling software directly for a small monthly fee. You keep all the proceeds of every sale so provided you have a suitable sales strategy this is a good way to make money from a blog.

These are just 3 ways of making your blog profitable OVER TIME.  Your success  depends on your creativity and the quality of your blog. So don’t be limited by the traditional ideology of Blogging. Push the boundaries and find inovative ways to produce in your niche. It only takes one buyer per month to turn a profit.

And remember the blog should be informative and have some personality, essentially your personality to make your visitors feel that you are talking dtrectly to them on a persoanl level. Loyalty is a powerful emotion and once you inspire someone to buy a product that is exactly what they have been seeking, they become loyal to you and will return again and again.
