Profitable Networking in Todays Social Media World.
The last few days I have concentrated on the basics for social Bookmarking and outlined the fundamentals of why its an important strategy that you should use in your marketing effort. If you missed the basics then click here to read it.
Please accept my apology for the late posting of this article, it was my intention to demonstrate some of the software and services that I use to automate the bookmarking process. However yesterday BOTH of the tools I use were significantly updated and I had to go see what changes had been made before attempting to make a video about those changes. However I confess that with regard to today’s tool, the changes from Version 4 to the current version 5 are so awesome that it is going to take me a day or so longer to get to grips with them to the fullest extent. So I am posting a demo video from YouTube in the interim while I do that. Once i have got the system down pat I will produce a video to demonstarte all the features of the program. So watch for that in a few days.
Today I am going to introduce the concept of Social bookmarking. Which in today’s web 2.0 world is an extension of the social media arena. Which if you understand marketing at all you already know that Social media is the promised land of free traffic. Something every online business should strive to achieve in the shortest possible time frame. After all why pay for traffic when most of it could be FREE.

Twitter has been the most misunderstood and perhaps most Maligned of the new social media portals in the last few months. Most people just don’t understand the little Tweets nor their attraction for the masses. however as the social media arena expands in the next few years this little gem will be leading the pack.
They partnered with Myspace and a whole bunch of other social networks to get ready for the NEXT BIG SOCIAL MEDIA THING!
