i-Google is the latest venture to come out of the Google research and development lab in recent months. Its based on the Open Social platform that makes up most other Social Media sites. This platform makes sharing of personal data such as photgraphs and videos etc as easy as uploading a picture to your computer. This latest venture by Google is an attempt to regain the ground lost to other Social Media sites like facebook and Twitter. Advertising space is cheaper in these other online arenas which is cutting Googles bottom line. I-Google is a shot across the bow in that expanding ad war.
