Blogging is no longer the activity of the disaffected teenager who hates the world. The advent and advance of the social media platforms of recent years have made blogging more acceptable and more appropriate as a from of communications. Especially by big corporations who want to appeal to a wider audience than other communications platforms can provide. Blogging is also seen by many to be a very modern concept and as such this gives companies and especially their senior management more Kudos with the youth of today. So blogging has been a great deal for a long time. However there are fundamental reasons for this and they are explained “in plain English” in this video.

Twitter has been the most misunderstood and perhaps most Maligned of the new social media portals in the last few months. Most people just don’t understand the little Tweets nor their attraction for the masses. however as the social media arena expands in the next few years this little gem will be leading the pack.

I remember the first time I signed up for an online service. It was a free eBook from Tim Brocklehurst (of “My Viral Spiral” fame) that revieled the truth about building a successful business online. I learned a lot from that little book and the lessons it taught me. However I wished I had remembered those lessons right from the beginning instead of only becoming aware of the message many months later.
