Twitter is a misunderstood distant cousin of the Social media set. But during the last 8 months or so Twitter has exploded onto the main stream social Media arena. With good reason it turns out. Now I like facebook yet i cannot stand MySpace. I use twitter but I ignore Plurk.

Twitter has been the most misunderstood and perhaps most Maligned of the new social media portals in the last few months. Most people just don’t understand the little Tweets nor their attraction for the masses. however as the social media arena expands in the next few years this little gem will be leading the pack.

Affiliate marketing is as old as the internet and the volume of sales driven by the ever increasing numbers of affiliates is staggering. In the last year alone the total number of sales produced by online retailers and marketing efforts may exceed $200 Billion US (see this report) in 2009, and that sales figure is rising at over 20% a year, despite the more recent global downturn. So it is even easier than ever to make a profit as an affiliate marketer, if you know what you are doing of course.

Its a fact of on line marketing that you can have the best product or service in the world, have a killer sales letter that could sell Oil to a Saudi Prince but if you don’t have anyone to see that deal, you won’t make a Bean.
